some fun for myself

had quite a fun day yesterday..

in the morning, i went back to the uni to return some books. went to collect my Aquatic Biology essay which has been marked. the marks were ok, but i really like the comments my lecturer gave:
"outline arguments, findings etc: very thorough"
"overall comment: very interesting"

:)

but well actually the subject i choose to write on, which is horseshoe crab, is interesting itself. so maybe my contents are just so so..some detailed facts which most people may not know. so maybe not as interesting as the comments sound like haha..and i still have things which i didnt manage to fit in. for this essay, everyone has to make a presentation on one's own essay. i have never liked presentations. but for this one, somehow i am looking forward to it. i have 2 horseshoe crab shells which i got from the mangrove forest that i can bring along to show everyone. see how things go then

after settling minor stuff in uni, i went to the bookshop in Univerisiti Malaya to get the pathology textbooks which i have long wanted to buy, but i have no time to travel to the bookshop, and i have no money too haha..i have only been there for once, went with my coursemates in a car, didnt really know the exact location. but is ok. shouldnt be too hard to get there myself. so i found my way there, and it was actually quite easy and convenient to get there using public transport. bought 3 books, and they cost me a bomb hahaha..well, textbooks are essentials for me. i wont know how to revise without the books i need during exam period. and after buying the books, i can save the nuisance to fight with the others for those few copies in the library. thus, the money has to be spent. cant save money on books

the bookshop ladies were quite friendly and nice. i realised i needed somemore money to get all the 3 books, so i had to find an atm macchine. one of them actually chased after me and wanted to tell me that i went to the wrong direction to get to the nearest lift, right after i left the shop. i guess i walked too fast hahaha..she didnt manage to catch up with me. so i took the long long way to get to somewhere which was really near hehe..after i went back to the shop, then she told me she wanted to stop me but couldnt catch up with me. such a nice person..

becos of the wrong way i took, i came across this aquarium right in front of the lift that i was supposed to take. the aquarium was a simple one, the decoration wont give you the 'wow' effect..but the things inside were quite interesting

overview of the aquarium (slanted..too bad. the not slanted shot had a big reflection of the direction board on the glass of the aquarium. i would rather have it slanted than to have annoying unwanted images)

a smaller fish. it looked nicer in the aquarium..but didnt look good in my photo. it was just not photogenetic! (just dont want to admit that it is becos of my lousy camera and lousy photo taking skills :p )

after the bookshop, i decided to spend the rest of my afternoon in Mid Valley. it has been quite some time since the last time i spent some relaxing cafefree afternoon in Mid Valley. of course, movie is a must. decided to watch Mr Bean..felt like watching one of the horror movies too. but not really in a mood for a horror movie, i need some laughs. the movie was quite ok..it is always nice to watch classical characters that you are familiar with, enjoy their typical moves. Mr Bean is still so Mr Bean. one of the most impressive things in the movie is that...he could run in those sexy black high heels! the heel is so high and thin..and yet HE could wear them as if he was wearing leather shoes. it will be impressive enough already if is a she wearing such high heels and run about. bravo

not going to tell you every single excitement in the movie..wont be fun anymore if you decide to watch the movie later :)

my favourite stall in Mid Valley. it is situated along the way towards the cinema. i dont buy things from there, i just like its cute look. a car full of teddys...i dont want the car, i want the teddys hahaha..


out of all of them on the car, this one caught my attention. these days feel like having something to hug when i am in bed. this one should be big enough for hugs. well..not going to spend money on teddys..eventhough i love them
