thoughts. an outing.

just finished a movie a while ago. they were showing this movie called 'In Her Shoes' on tv, starring Cameron Diaz. i thought it was just another comedy, but actually it was more than that. it was a comedy based on family values, about 2 sisters from a sad family who were really close. Cameron Diaz was the younger sister, hot girl type. and her elder sister was the strong girl type who was really protective of her sister. this movie was about how their close relationship was affected by a mistake made by the younger sister but at the end their relationship recovered and each of them, as well as their family, had a better life. the movie was quite sad actually, the family part was really heartbreaking..but there was still humour, and a happy ending. quite a sweet comedy

finally went through some of the photos i took and now can finally talk about the outing to Singapore in December last year. went there to meet 2 of my new friends, Ding Ying and Han Yang. got to know them in some 'special' ways hahaha. had never met them in person before, only know their looks through their pictures. so decided to made my way there to meet them.
we went to Vivo City, the new shopping center in Singapore. walked around, had lunch there and chat. we went to the food court there. i have never seen such a beautiful food court, the decoration was really nice. it has a traditional chinese look, with all the old wood furniture and some chinese traditional things, like the chinese masks and the costumes for the chinese opera singers. all the stalls were also decorated nicely, the woody kind of stalls, like those by the roadside in the past. and they have a lot of nice red lanterns. wanted to take some pictures of them but missed the chance. maybe next time :) Vivo City is really quite a nice place, you can go out to the open and opposite the shopping center is actually the entry to Sentosa Island. so you can see the sea, feel the freeze. that afternoon the weather was quite good. very sunny. liked the breeze. quite a nice place.
after Vivo City, Han Yang suggested that maybe we could go to Labrado Park, which is a natural recreation park. They have a forest there, and the park was by the sea. really liked that place :) took most of the photos there. and there was where i started to take the photos of my 2 friends, from their back hehe..with or without their knowledge. ya sometimes i do tend to take people's photos from their back, while they were standing or walking in front of me. have you ever wonder how you look like from the back? to me, i think it is quite special..natural, because i didnt tell those people when i am taking their pictures. if i tell them, then the feel will be different already i guess. i got this idea from a japanese drama hehehe..anyway really have to thank my 2 friends (and sorry that i didnt tell u all sometimes when i was taking the pictures..). and Ding Ying tried out the idea too, and she called it a romantic way of taking pictures hahaha. what a nice name. had a great time at Labrado Park. it was evening when we got there..and really didnt feel like leaving. but i had to go back to JB, so couldnt stay too long. left the park around 7pm
